Jezer

Lake “Under Lovćen”  has no other name, but could be called the pool or pond, because it is a smaller water surface, which dries up in drought period. True locals call it “the Lake” (Jezer). This lake is located on the northern slopes of Lovcen, at an altitude of 1352m. On the south side of the lake rises the top, and the other side the forests. The lake is an ellipse whose prelnik about 50m. Talking to locals, there are  four sources under the water which are called the eyes. When the lake dries up is still a bit water in these sources. Farmers from the surrounding katuns come to this lake  to feed cattle. Also the arrivals of mountaineers and other nature lovers are not rare. “(Vasilije – Mujo Spasojevic, 2007)
