1. Marko Martinovic (Perast, from 1663 to 1716) opened the first private maritime school in the world.
2. The largest oak in Montenegro is located in Pelev hill, near Podgorica. It is old about five hundred years.
3. Montenegrin First feature film called “the false Emperor.” Recorded in 1955. in the production of Lovcen film. It was also the first historical film in the former Yugoslavia.
4. Gurdic addition of Kotor is one of the MOST UNUSUAL rivers in the world, because the river without the – channel. At the time of rainy days, the river, eighty feet long, boil the cave hole and seawater, as the Length of the bay, returning to the sea.
5. Nikšićko field has 300 springs, 30 streams and 886 abyss. This spring, called potajnice, rights are a natural rarity.
6. One of the few surviving copies in the world marine fan manual operation is among the exhibits in the museum Perast.
7. Perch onece a year travel from river Bojana to the Gulf of Mexico to spawn there.
8. In the village Godinje all houses are connected with a defence system of tunnels and passages.
9. Hill Šipcanik once was an underground military airport, now is the wine cellar.
10. John Raičević was the first Montenegrin world champion in any sport. He won the title of world champion in wrestling Raičević 1909.
