Valdanos

Valdanos Bay is located at 5 kilometers northwest of Ulcinj, between hills Mavrijan and Mendra. Featuring the olive grove with over 80 000 olive trees, some of which date from the time of ancient Greece, and most of the old 3 centuries . The olive was the main resource of this area. Valdanos, which until recently was a military resort, was once the main port for sea pirates and the scene of skirmishes, so there are remains of many ships. Some of them are from ancient history and medieval and may lure fans of diving. The coast of the bay is characterized by a  pebble beach long 600m, whose background is in the pine forests and thick bushes and capes that are rapidly descending into the sea. In addition, there are , restaurants, sports facilities and a beach bar. On Cape Mendre is the oldest lighthouse on the Montenegrin coast, and at the coast are the remains of a smaller church, which was presumably built by Greeks. This area is the subject of archaeological interest, but without any excavation yet.

Zeta

Zeta
Zeta  starts near Nikšić, under the Planinica hill flows eastwards for 86 km (53 mi) until it confluences into the Morača River just north of Podgorica. One theory is that the name “Zeta” derives from an early root meaning “harvest” or “grain” (modern words žetva and žito). The Zeta River is the most significant tributary of the Morača. The Perućica Hydroelectric power plant near Nikšić (307 MW, 970 GWh) uses the waters of the Zeta River to generate power. After that, the river meanders through the Bjelopavlići Valley, until it empties into the Morača a few miles north of Podgorica.

Velika Plaža Ulcinj’s Velika Plaza, also known as Long Beach (and Plazha Madhe in Albanian), is one of Montenegro’s great natural assets – it is the country’s longest contiguous beach and its most famous beach. Some locals like to call this 13-kilometer stretch of Montenegro’s coast, the “Copacabana of Ulcinj”. It spreads out from Djerane Cape to Ada Bojana.

The beach is well-know for being covered with the finest sand (the diameter of a grain is 0.1-5mm) with such a fine quality that it is reputed to have medicinal and therapeutic qualities. It is rich with minerals, good for those suffering from rheumatism and other illnesses. This beach is distinctive for a long shallow belt of sea water.
