Ljuta

Ljuta is located 7 km away from Kotor, and is located in the heart of the Bay of Kotor, on the northern side of the municipality of Kotor. Village got its name by the river Ljuta. This river is one of the shortest rivers, underground streams in Europe. In the winter after heavy rainfall it carries a huge amount of water that flows into sea. Baroque church dedicated to St. Peter is situated in the central part of the settlement. Its construction began around the 1700th The order was finally completed 1780th year. Ljuta is also known thanks to the restaurant “Stari Mlini”, which got its name because it is located at the place where ( before 400 years)  were the mills for producing flour for entire Boka Kotorska.
