Vranjina
Vranjina is an island in Lake Skadar in Montenegro.
It became  the island between 1200 and 1233rd due to floods of lake water. It is long about 2 km and 1 km wide . Mada from limeston, Vranjina  high is about 330 meters. On the northwest coast, is located Vranjina (Montenegrin Venice), settled after the 1835th from various parts of Montenegro. According to the census from 2003. was 218 inhabitants.
The island is the Monastery of Saint Nicholas, who is mentioned first 1233rd . It was also  was residence of Bishop before moving  capital from Zabljak to Cetinje. Vranjina and near Lesendera, were places of  frequent fighting between Montenegrins and Turks.
