Hridsko jezero

Hridsko or Ridsko lake, pearl of Prokletije is in NE part of these mountains and is one of the most beautiful lakes of Montenegro, under the condition that it is not the most beautiful. Located at an altitude of 1970 m above sea level is the highest lake of Montenegro. Water is extremely clear, and colors range from blue to green..It is 295 m long and 175 m wide His depth is 5m. His almost mystical beauty inspired many legends.

Oko Skakavice

Source of river Skakavica is located near the Gusinje, near the village Vusanje.

Breaks 1,000 m above sea level, has a circular shape and appearance of the funnel and deep depressions, where the water boiling. On the northern and southern sides of a hot rises 3-5 feet high limestone rock. The eye is one of the strongest springs in the area of Prokletije. It is long 30 m and 25 m. wide and 8 m deep.

Jablan jezero

In further continuation going to Zabljak and passing by village Mala Crna Gora and by Stuoc peak on the left side and at the very feet of Crvena Greda ,you could see Jablan jezero(Poplar lake)or Malo Jezero (‘’Small lake) as some people call this lake. But this lake is more larger and deeper than others Durmitor lakes—its depth is 8.5 m. Jablan Lake –its altitude level is 1.791 m and with its magnificent beauty this lake just more adds to the beauty of whole Durmitor.

Modro lake

Modro jezero

At the foot of Durmitor ‘peak ,Sedlena greda is situated ‘Modro jezero’,on the altitude level of 1.609 m and with depth of 3.3 m. When you are looking into the colour of water, you will understand why it has got this name. The lake is not just a dwelling place of trouts but also you can see here a flock of wild ducks that are drifting across the surface of lake.
