Liverović lake

Liverovićko jezero

Liverovićko lake is located near the town of Niksic . It was created for the needs of the Steelworks in 1957th year. It is the accumulation of river Gracanica. The dam on the lake is 127 m long 2 m wide with a maximum rise of water at a height of 738 m. It uses the area of a square kilometer with the 3 km length. Still not valued, although tourism has great potential. For now, it’s a good area for fishing, because it is rich in trout.

Pošćensko jezero Poscensko Jezero is one of the lakes on Jezerska Povrs (Plateau of Lakes). It is closest to the edge of Durmitor. Poscensko Jezero (1487 m, 3.6 m deep) is one of 18 mountain lakes of Durmitor National Park. Durmitorians called them “Gorske oci” (Mountain Eyes).
