Great Sand beach

Veliki Pijesak The valleys Great Sand and Small Sand are situated at the south of the Bar district, 10km away from Bar towards Ulcinj. The beaches are protected natural reservations. They are covered with fine sand, as is the sea bottom. Owing to its geographic position, you can enjoy fantastic sunsets in the late afternoon. The beaches are about 600m long, and a macadam road connects them with the main road. There is a weekend village among the old oak and olive trees in its background.

Queen´s Beach

Kraljičina Plaža Queen´s Beach is situated immediately next to Milocer beach and fits in this environment because of its attractiveness. The beach is 200 m long, with cypress and olive trees in its background. It was the favorite beach of Queen Maria Karadordevic and that’s how it got its name. This beach may not be open for general public at all times, or entrance may be charged, because this is favorite resort of Montenegrin officials.

Sutormore Sutomore (Montenegrin: Сутоморе; Venetian: Spizza) is a small coastal town in Bar Municipality, Montenegro.Sutomore was called Spizza in Venetian, when it was under the Republic of Venice from 1420 to 1797 and belonged to the Albania Veneta, except for short-lived Ottoman occupations. The Austrian census of 1910 reports that there were Venetian speaking families in Spizza in the twentieth century.It is famous for its 2 km long sandy beach. Low prices (if compared with its neighbour Budva), along with easy access via Belgrade – Bar railway, makes it a very popular budget destination and extremely crowded during summer months. It is a favorite spot for day trips for young people from Podgorica, as it is only half an hour away, either by train or by car. Wikipedia

Ploče

Ploče Ploče beach is located on Cape Platamuni,  9 kilometers away from Budva, near the beach  Trsteno. Named because of the specific plate rocks. The beach is composed of rocky and sandy parts. Mostly dominated by rocky pools for children and adults. There is beach bar and a very clean water.

Drobni Pijesak The terrain towards the south, towards Petrovac, is such that it caused the formation a few small beaches. They are accessible only from the sea. The Drobni beach is distinctive for its beauty. It is situated in a hidden valley and it is 250m long. As its sand is yellow-white is reminiscent of tropical beaches, and as the background is overgrown with olives it is called “wild”. There is a spring of drinking water and a few restaurants on the beach. Drobni beach is a favorite vacation area of many people

Bečići

Bečići Bečići  is a town within the municipality of Budva, Montenegro. It is located north-east of Budva, and has 771 permanent residents (2003 census).

It has a 1,950m long sandy beach, which is among most beautiful beaches in Montenegro and the southern Adriatic. In 1935 it won the Grand Prix in Paris as the most beautiful beach in Europe.

In contrast to Budva’s large number of private housing units, Bečići town mostly consists of medium and large hotels. Some of them, as Mediteran, Iberostar Bellevue or Queen of Montenegro were extensively refurbished, while the most significant greenfield addition was Hotel Splendid, a luxurious five-star resort that costed 70 million euros to build. It was the choice of The Rolling Stones and Madonna during their stay in Montenegro.
