Kotor during the whole year is very lively city and recognized by the mass entertainment in town squares. In the “carnival festivals” organized carnivals in the winter and summer months, concerts, festivals Boka kitchen, exhibitions, performances and various other festivals. And in february of this year’s carnival was held that brought together carnival groups from numerous countries, especially neighboring. Parde of masks was walking on the main street,clowns, witches, princesses, characters from fairy tales and cartoons, and masks that were a parody of reality and what is current in society. So you could see doctors and pigs as a parody of the current swine flu, port and palms from the Porto Montenegro in Tivat and other. The inevitable accompaniment carnivals are the girls in uniforms of various colors and with the choreography and rhythmic sounds of urban music, usually walking on the had of parade. The traditional procession in which the doll of carnival named Bribe condemned as “guilty” for all the bad that has happened in the previous year, completed the burning of smaller kitten. Fun was continued within the walls of the city and on the evening costume party at the hotel “Splendid” in Becici the best maskd get awarded. In the category of individual masks first place won mask “Arlekins ladies” and in the category group masks “Clowns on the wind”.

Montenegro is among the 31 destinations that, according to The New York Times, to visit this year, transmitted RSE.
