Ljutica River, left tributary of Tara river, is proud of its two European records. It is the shortest and most powerful river in the Old World. Its length is 130 m and the force at the time of melting snows can be measured with more than 100 cubic meters of water per second. It springs from the rocks of the canyon 35 meters above the confluence of the Tara river and all along has been white and sparkling. Because of this, got the nickname “Tara’s breast Pearl.” For those who would like to visit this river, Ljutica is on the left side of Tara, a mile downstream from the bridge on Đurđevića Tara. If you do not notice its roar, you will see an information board.
