Many buildings suffered purpose changing \u00a0depending on who was in power.Many churches were changed into mosques and renovated the opposite. The Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas had a similar fate. <!--more-->When the Turks invaded, the monastery was converted into a mosque. It was rebuilt as a church of 1890, in honor of the Montenegrins, who died in wars from 1878. It has nteresting iconostasis that it is a Russian origin.
