It is named after a tribe Pa\u0161trovi\u0107i that settled this area.<!--more-->\u00a0There are several important monasteries, architectural units in the form of old \u00a0villages and several fortifications of which is the most famous castle in Braji\u0107i &#8211;\u00a0 Kosma\u010d.
