Valdanos Bay is located at 5 kilometers northwest of Ulcinj, between hills Mavrijan and Mendra. Featuring the olive grove with over 80 000 olive trees, some of which date from the time of ancient Greece, and most of the old 3 centuries . The olive was the main resource of this area. Valdanos, which until recently was a military resort, was once the main port for sea pirates and the scene of skirmishes, so there are remains of many ships. Some of them are from ancient history and medieval and may lure fans of diving. The coast of the bay is characterized by a  pebble beach long 600m, whose background is in the pine forests and thick bushes and capes that are rapidly descending into the sea. In addition, there are , restaurants, sports facilities and a beach bar. On Cape Mendre is the oldest lighthouse on the Montenegrin coast, and at the coast are the remains of a smaller church, which was presumably built by Greeks. This area is the subject of archaeological interest, but without any excavation yet.
