Donja Lastva is a small seaside village of Venetian architecture not far from Tivat. In addition to calm and clean sea, it attracts lovers of hiking by mountain Vrmac. Having plenty of footpaths and goat tracks, the mountain overhangs straight above the village. Vrmac separates Tivat Bay from Kotor Bay, so that atop of it you can have magnificent views. On the mountain, there is an ancient village Gornja Lastva, where two interesting churches are located – the Church of St.Maria (the XIV century) with splendid altar made of white Karrar, speckled Ligurian and green marble; and the Church of St.Vid (the IX century) which lies on a rock of the same name.
